Recently there have been discussions concerning the rating system the Wiki currently uses, which is based on GameWith. Viewers have reflected that although some of the monsters share similar ratings, their uses vary widely. This is why the wiki is introducing a new rating system!

Each monster's pages will have letter ranks for 2 categories, Power (for general use) and Meta (for high-difficulty, late game dungeons), from S to U. Details are as follows:

S range [Purple] - Practically game breaking, essentially a must-have monster for all players for all contents.

A range [Red] - Performs very good in general use or late-game content, depending on the context.

B range [Orange] - A decent monster to have, though does not get a lot of use or is maybe overshadowed by some monsters in S or A rank.

C range [Green] - A monster that is definitely overshadowed, not the first choice unless the players really lack monsters.

D range [Blue] - A monster that does not see use. Only reason it gets used is when the player deliberately go out of their way to bring the monster into the dungeon.

F [Gray] - There is no point in getting this monster.

U [Black] - Reserved for monsters that players can't or don't usually use, such as Expies, Dragon Gems, Oragons, the Evo/Asc forms for monsters that already have Transcensions (Kais) etc.

A + indicates that the monster has slightly more viability than other monsters among the same rank, but not enough to advance to the next rank, while a - indicates the opposite.

Note that the ranks' colors do not show in mobile.
